Nothing says ostentatious more than a metallic skirt imbued with floral prints, paired with as many accessories as humanly possible. I'm imagining a full-length skirt, in this same print, pleated slightly and the waist and structured smooth fabric falling to the floor... the image is overwhelming, and something I wish I could see in real life. I felt extremely Cleopatra-esque in my gold bib necklace paired with a large, showy gold medallion, with my fingers bedecked in numerous rings, and I'm not going to lie, but it felt great to channel the vibes of the glamorous Queen of the Nile. Anyway, I seem to have paired this skirt numerous times in many of my outfits, but you'll have to admit that the metallic floral print is somewhat irresistible, and this time it made a good partner to my new dainty white cropped bralet embossed with little flowers and adding that much more femininity to my outfit with its frilled neckline.

This outfit post comes just in time for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I hope this festive month has been filled with happiness and joy for all of you. We cannot possibly have a white Christmas here in Singapore, but I created my own little Winter Wonderland. Happy Holidays to all, enjoy the remaining few days of 2014! (This post's title comes from one of Kresley Coles's books, by the way, in case any of you read them as well.)
xx
